An employee at the Putnamville Correctional Facility has found herself behind bars for her actions with an inmate.
According to records, 26-year-old Lian S. Dodds, of Brazil, is facing one count of official misconduct and two counts of sexual misconduct with an inmate. Dodds served as a certified nursing assistant.
Dodds was arrested last month after being investigated by IDOC investigator Ashley Willis. During the investigation, Dodds admitted to kissing an inmate
The incident took place in a closet and the inmate grabbed Dodds, pulled her in and kissed her while attempting to get Dodds to touch his penis.
According to the report, Dodds said she pulled her hand away but did not call for assistance because she was in shock and because she liked him.
The second incident occurred in another closet as they were putting away laundry. The inmate reportedly grabbed her waist, pushed himself into her from behind and kissed her. The both remained fully clothed, the report noted.
Willis reported Dodds enjoyed what she was doing with the inmate.
"Lian Dodds knowingly and intentionally engaged in sexual misconduct with Offender Brandon Roberts on more than one occasion as well as showing Roberts her breasts. She admitted she enjoyed kissing Roberts, showing her breasts to him, and allowing him to place his erect penis on her vagina while clothed," Willis wrote.
Dodds is currently out on home detention, while awaiting a court appearance in January.
