This weekend, Putnam County Museum will host a program held by Jennifer Johnson, a former museum professional and educator, and talented fiber artist. She will lead children in conversations about the various camouflage strategies - mimicry, coloration, and others - that help insects survive.
Participants will then design their own insect based on either a particular specimen of their own imagination. There will be a short story-time session as well.
This program will run on Saturday, February 22 at 11 a.m. and will run for approximately 90 minutes. Content and activities are geared towards children aged first-grade and up, yet all are welcome. Admission is free to all participants.

The Putnam County Museum is located at 1105 North Jackson Street, just north of downtown Greencastle. Opening hours are Monday-Friday 10-4 and Sunday 12-4. Admission to the museum is free.
