An 18-year-old Plymouth man has been arrested in connection with a large fight that broke out at River Park Square earlier this week, after police say he stole and destroyed a shoe belonging to a special needs teenager.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, Corporal Schieber conducted a follow-up investigation on Thursday afternoon, March 19, stemming from a large altercation that occurred at the downtown park on Wednesday night.
During the investigation, officers reviewed video footage of the incident, which led them to identify Cameron Hudson, 18, of West Monroe Street, as a person of interest. Police allege that during the Wednesday night brawl, Hudson stole a tennis shoe that was being worn by a special needs teenager and proceeded to rip it apart.
Corporal Schieber located and interviewed Hudson at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Following the interview, Hudson was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
He was booked on preliminary charges of theft, criminal mischief, and false informing. Hudson is currently being held on a $500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
