The Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board (Board) will meet for a Tentative Agreement Meeting with the Plymouth Educational Association (PEA) on today at 5 p.m. in the corporation’s boardroom.
The meeting is open to the public.
Under the contract section titled Factors and Distribution, for evaluation ratings, it now says: “For the 2025-26 school year, the parties have bargained that there will be no base salary increase (except for those teachers possessing a literacy endorsement.) Teachers who possess a literacy endorsement at the time of Board approval of the contract will receive a $100 increase to their base salary."
Under the Group Insurance section, the Board shall offer a group medical insurance program, a group dental insurance program, and a group vision insurance program to all employees. The new contract shows minor increases for contributions to the plans for 2026.
The term of the tentative agreement being considered on Wednesday is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, making the contract effective for the 2025-2026 school year.
