Plymouth Police arrested two individuals on domestic battery charges on Wednesday evening in separate incidents.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Pennsylvania Street on Wednesday evening following a report of a domestic disturbance.
After investigating the incident, Officer Baker determined that a battery had occurred. Tanya Hisey-Kujath, 49, of the Pennsylvania address, was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail.
Hisey-Kujath was charged with domestic battery and intimidation. She is being held on a $500 cash bond.

In a separate incident, Plymouth officers were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot at 9:21 p.m. on December 17th following a report of an assault inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers learned the vehicle's two occupants had been involved in a verbal argument that escalated to physical violence. The passenger reported that the driver, Trevor Lucas, 19, of Bremen, had struck him multiple times on the left arm.
Officers observed visible marks on the victim's left arm, and he complained of pain from the assault.
Lucas was detained and transported to Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on a charge of domestic battery. He is being held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
