Plymouth Police arrested a local woman after being called to 1225 West Jefferson Street at about 12:50 a.m. on Dec. 22.
Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Moose Lodge for a physical fight in progress. When officers arrived at the scene they located a large group of individuals outside the lodge, and during their investigation, it was determined that two separate fights had occurred before a 911 call was placed.
The investigation revealed that one of the subjects involved was Adrian Reed, 41, of Plymouth. Several subjects involved in the physical altercation fled the area before police officers arrived.
Adrian Reed was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. She was lodged for initial pending charges of battery with bodily injury and disorderly conduct. Reed was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
