A speeding vehicle on U.S. 30 near Plymouth Goshen Trail was stopped on Monday morning, April 7. The driver had a nationwide federal felony warrant for his arrest.
At about 1:40 in the morning, Corporal Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on U.S. 30. During his investigation, it was found that the driver, 27-year-old Santiago Andrade Jr of Hammond, had an outstanding nationwide federal felony warrant for his arrest that had been issued through the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Andrade was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail to await extradition.
