A Plymouth man was arrested on Sunday after he fled from city police and attempted to hide in a parking lot.
On Sunday morning, just after 3 a.m., Corporal Schieber attempted to stop a vehicle at Fifth and Jackson Streets for disregarding a stop sign. The vehicle fled from the officer before attempting to hide in the vehicle in the parking lot at the corner of Broadway and Harrison Street.
The driver, 36-year-old Raul Castro-Carcamo of Plymouth, was apprehended. Corporal Schieber’s investigation found that he did not have a license and was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and in possession of cocaine.
Completing his investigation, the city officer lodged Castro-Carcamo in the Marshall County Jail for felony possession of cocaine, resisting law enforcement, misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, and operator never licensed with a prior.
