A Plymouth man was taken into custody early Saturday morning after police say he repeatedly returned to a local residence despite being issued multiple warnings to stay away.
At approximately 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 14th, Officer Vinson with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to a home located at 718 North First Street. The caller reported that a man, identified as Erick A. Uzcategiu Nava of Plymouth, was standing outside a window of the residence.
According to the police report, city officers had already been dispatched to the same address twice before this incident. During those earlier visits, both the resident and law enforcement officers had issued Nava a strict verbal no-trespass warning.
When the first police units arrived on the scene for the third time, Nava was spotted fleeing from the area of the residence and running across Plum Street. Officers pursued and subsequently located Nava, attempting to hide inside his vehicle, which he had parked on Plum Street near the intersection of Jackson Street.
Nava was placed under arrest for trespassing and was transported to the Marshall County Jail for booking.
