A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday morning after Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an unclothed male in the area of 6th Road and Quince Road.
On Tuesday, August 18th, at approximately 9:23 a.m., deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff's Department responded to the 911 call. The male, identified as 34-year-old Michael Schmalzried of Quince Road in Plymouth, was located and taken into custody.
Schmalzried was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on a charge of indecent exposure, a Class A misdemeanor. He was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
