Officer Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department arrested a Plymouth man Saturday afternoon March 11th for Operator Never Licensed and Possession of a Counterfeit Government ID.
At approximately 1 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the 1700 block of North Michigan Street. During the course of the investigation, the driver was identified as 22-year-old Jayson Carias-Valle of 1535 North Michigan Street lot 221 in Plymouth.
It was determined that Carias-Valle had never been issued a driver’s license. He was in possession of a counterfeit identification card.
Jayson Carias-Valle was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held for those charges until 4 p.m. when he was released after having his cash bond posted.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
