The Plymouth High School Theater Department invites the community to journey across time and space next month with its production of "A Wrinkle in Time."
Presented by the school's Advanced Acting and Advanced Technical Theater students, the play will run for two nights only on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, in the PHS Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 CASH.
Based on the classic novel by Madeleine L'Engle and adapted for the stage by Madeleine Gould, the story follows the brilliant but imperfect Meg Murry. Alongside her brother Charles Wallace and friend Calvin O'Keefe, Meg embarks on a cosmic adventure guided by the mysterious Mrs. Whatsit to rescue her father and confront darkness itself.
The production highlights the creativity and dedication of PHS student actors, designers, and technicians who have worked tirelessly to bring this imaginative story to life. Through the performance, students explore timeless themes of love overcoming evil and the extraordinary potential within ordinary people.
Community members are encouraged to attend and celebrate the hard work and artistry of Plymouth's student performers and crew.
