The Plymouth Fire Department is offering community members the opportunity to learn critical lifesaving skills at an upcoming public CPR class scheduled for Tuesday, March 24.
The training session will begin at 3 p.m. at the Plymouth firehouse. For a $50 registration fee per person, participants will receive comprehensive, hands-on instruction from Plymouth Fire Department instructors Paul Mathewson and John Lampkins.
The course is designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies. The curriculum will cover adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as proper Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and safety. Additionally, students will learn how to quickly recognize various emergencies and practice hands-on lifesaving techniques.
Fire officials encourage a wide range of individuals to attend the training. The class is highly recommended for parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, and workplace teams, but it is open to anyone in the community who wants to know how to save a life.
Space for the class is limited, so organizers are urging interested individuals to register as soon as possible.
