The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth Common Council will hold their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers at City Hall.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will open the evening, hearing reports from department heads, the city attorney, and the clerk-treasurer. Four requests are on the agenda for consideration: a no-parking sign request from Kip Cook, a street closure request from Anna Corbett, a wagon ride request from Crossroads Church, and a street closure request from Tracey Houin.
The Plymouth Common Council will convene at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will open with a public hearing for the Phase I READI Grant related to the Heartland Building bid opening.
Under new business, the clerk-treasurer will present donations for consideration, and members will take up an ordinance setting salaries for appointed positions, employees, and fire and police personnel for 2027. The council will also receive an update on ONE Marshall County along with a funding request and hear an update on the city's Comprehensive Plan.
Both meetings are open to the public. Attendees should enter through the Garro Street door and proceed to the second floor. The meetings will also be streamed live on the city's YouTube channel.
