Monday evening the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet in the Council Chambers of City Hall on the second floor. The meeting is open to the public and streamed live.
The agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting at 6 p.m. includes reports from various department heads and the city attorney. The Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski will present requests from Dustin’s Place for their Join the Journey 5- fundraiser and from the Benjamin JW Fisher Memorial Foundation for Work Zone Awareness pole flags.
The Board of Public Works will also approve the claims, accept communications, and open the floor for public comment.
The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. They will consider the Tax Abatement compliance forms from DAC Enterprises LLC and consider an application for the exemption of licensing by Benjamin JW Fisher Memorial Foundation.
The council will have five resolutions to consider. The first two are to declare certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for ADDD Equities, LLC and Plymouth Hospitality LLC. The third resolution will create new funds for the Clerk-Treasurer while the fourth resolution approves the modification of the project list for TIF #3, known as the US30/Pine Road Economic Development Area. The fifth resolution the Plymouth Common Council will consider recommends the issuance of a permit to sell alcoholic beverages at 101 South Michigan Street, in the Riverfront District for Harman Restaurants Inc.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will give an update on the Stellar Communities projects and there is also a chance for public comment.
Those attending the city meetings should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second-floor.
