The REES Theatre will come alive with island-inspired rhythms when Plainview Vibes takes the stage Saturday, August 1, at 7:30 p.m. for what promises to be one of the summer's standout live music events.
The band has built a devoted regional following by blending reggae influences with crowd-pleasing favorites, delivering high-energy performances that strike a rare balance — getting audiences on their feet while keeping the atmosphere laid-back and uplifting. Saturday's show marks a homecoming of sorts for the locally rooted group, who will perform on the historic REES stage for the first time.
Opening the evening will be Kayle Truman, whose vocals and engaging stage presence are expected to set the perfect tone before Plainview Vibes headlines.
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite, in person at Na Rie Simple Treasures, 104 N. Michigan Street, or at the Everwise Box Office beginning one hour before showtime.
