A ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday morning marked the official grand opening of Pizza Inn located at 201 Rouch Place in Rochester.
Serving at other locations primarily in the southeastern and southwestern portion of the U.S., Pizza Inn is more than your average pizza joint, providing a buffet that includes unlimited pizza, pasta, soup, salad, sandwiches, desserts and more.

Aiming to provide a family-friendly buffet owners David and Phoebe Omete say their crew emphasizes the importance of good service and providing what the customer's taste buds are looking for and will cater to any requests made to be added to the buffet. The franchise is famous for making their food fresh and in house, including their pizza dough, ranch, and desserts. Their mozzarella is also shredded daily.

Rochester's Pizza Inn is putting Fulton County on the map by being the only Pizza Inn in Indiana. Prior to this week's grand opening, it had been more than five decades since the Pizza Inn franchise had been open in the state. The opening is a dream that's been long-time coming for the Omete's, who have planned to open the Rochester Pizza Inn since the spring, but struggled to do so due to hiring issues.
Last week a soft opening marked the first stages of the Pizza Inn's opening, as their new team provided orders to go for customers wanting to test out their menu. Pizza Inn corporate manager Yvonne Lara said Friday was so successful their phone rang off the hook and the drive-thru lane stayed full all evening until they eventually ran out of food before close. The team remains hopeful for the future of business and says Pizza Inn is still looking to add additional staff members to their crew. Anyone interested can apply online at the Rochester Pizza Inn LinkedIn page online or email PizzaInnRochester@gmail.com.
For questions or orders, customers can call 574-224-5656. Pizza Inn is now open Monday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
