Mark your calendar for the 2025 Plymouth High School Speech Showcase on Monday, May 19, at 7:00 pm, at the Rees Theatre in downtown Plymouth.
All 19 of the national qualifiers will perform their qualifying material. This will be a special year because Plymouth won the overall ISSDA Speech State Championship.
In addition, senior Dariel Herrera-Rosales was recently named a finalist for Student of the Year. The five finalists will interview at the National Tournament, and one student will be named the National Student of the Year.

Students speaking include the following: Dariel Herrera-Rosales, Claire Lewandowski, Olivia Burch, Dylan Buchanan, Rylan James, Waylon Pitts, Kylinn Kain, Estella Mendez, Lylianna Seidelmann, Madelyn Hutchings, Maddie Harness, Angelique Oviedo, Tyler Travis, Katie Fritz, Cora Hanes, Alex Kizer, Marcy Sickmiller, Brylie Workman, and Marley Stoneburner.
Donations will be accepted for their June trip to Des Moines, Iowa, for the national tournament.
