The Plymouth Park Department will host two events in October: the first is a Mother-Son Halloween Dance, and the second is the annual Trunk-or-Treat.
Tickets for the Mother-Son Halloween Dance, October 18th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Horsebarn in Centennial Park, are on sale now at the park office. The event is geared towards boys aged 5-12 years old, but the park will not restrict participation by age. Abby Collins, Recreation Director, encourages not just Moms, but aunts, grandmas, guardians, and any lady who has a little boy in their life to attend with them. Tickets are $10 per couple and $2 for each additional boy.
Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 25th, in River Park Square from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Park is currently accepting applications from individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in distributing candy during the event.
This is a free event for all; there is no fee to be a vendor, and admission is free for families to attend.
