A routine late-night security check at a Plymouth church led to an arrest in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 14th.
At approximately 3:19 a.m., Officer Ayala with the Plymouth Police Department was conducting a security check at New Song Community Church, 1292 Baker Street, when he noticed a vehicle that had pulled into the parking lot. During his contact with the driver, 35-year-old Julian M. Moore of Osceola, Officer Ayala determined that Moore was operating the vehicle on a suspended license with prior suspensions within the last ten years.
Moore was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a charge of driving while his license or permit is suspended or revoked with a prior within ten years.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
