Operation Quiet Comfort has just wrapped up a monumental effort, sending a massive wave of holiday cheer to our service members stationed overseas!

Last month, an incredible team of about 65 dedicated volunteers came together, working tirelessly to pack thousands of stockings. And the results are in: Operation Quiet Comfort has successfully shipped a grand total of 2,128 Christmas stockings to our troops!

These aren't just any stockings. Each one is brimming with a pair of socks, a puzzle book, tissues, lip balm, Christmas cards, and a bag of snacks and candy – little comforts from home designed to bring a smile to those serving our country.

In just the last two weeks, the organization sent out 165 boxes of holiday cheer, including 11 boxes filled with decorations to help make their "home away from home" feel more festive, and two large boxes packed with extra candy and goodies. The total weight of all these packages? A staggering 3,214 pounds! The postage alone for this incredible undertaking came to over $3,400.

Operation Quiet Comfort extends a huge thank you to all the volunteers who made this possible, and to local businesses like Pizza by Brunos, delivered by EZ-Run, Coca-Cola for the pop, and Culligan for the water, who generously donated lunch and refreshments. And, of course, to everyone who contributed cookies and snacks!

It's a powerful reminder of our community's unwavering support for those serving our country. What a wonderful way to spread holiday joy!
