Illinois State Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash involving a truck and male pedestrian late last week in Edwards County.
Preliminary information released indicates that at around 10:15 p.m. CT Friday, a pickup was headed north on Illinois Route 130 near a county road intersection and struck the man standing in the roadway.
He has been identified as 22-year-old Jaxin Lee of Grayville, formerly of Albion.
The pickup driver is from West Salem, Illinois and was not injured, but authorities have not released the name.
The roadway was closed for several hours to allow for accident reconstruction and wreckage cleanup.
