One man is dead, and a female hospitalized after a suspected carbon monoxide gas leak inside a Gibson County residence Wednesday night.
Sheriff's deputies were called out to the home around 8:15 p.m. (CST) and arrived to find the couple unresponsive in the basement. The male subject has been identified as 24-year-old Dylan Coston of Haubstadt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female victim was identified as 24-year-old Faith Brown of Evansville. She was transported to an Evansville hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.
Authorities say their investigation into the matter is continuing.
