Plymouth Athletics is excited to introduce Douglas Stidham, PGA, as the new Boy’s Golf Coach for the 2025 season. With the majority of the roster returning, the team is eager to build on their successes from the 2024 season, and Coach Stidham is poised to help them reach new heights. Athletic Director Josh Troyer remarked, “We couldn’t have found a better fit to lead this program. Coach Stidham’s experience as a PGA teaching professional, combined with his great personality, will undoubtedly elevate our team.”
Coach Stidham brings over 20 years of experience in the golf industry, holding a Degree in Golf Management from Trine University and a Class A PGA Professional certification. His expertise spans instruction, club fitting, and course management, with a particular emphasis on helping golfers optimize their game.
Off the course, Coach Stidham and his wife, Erin—a Plymouth graduate from the Class of 2006—are active members of the community, coaching and participating in various sports with their two children, Kinley (11) and John (5). Reflecting on his own high school golf experience, Coach Stidham shared, ”My three best friends are from my high school golf team. We still meet up at least four to five times a year to play. Relationships like that are hard to come by and if I can help accommodate that I did something right.”
