The name of the victim in a Friday I-74 fatal crash has been released.
Nicole Renee Craig, 45, was killed in the crash between her passenger car and a tractor-trailer. No definitive word for the cause of the crash has been given.
It happened just before 5 a.m. near Greensburg in the eastbound lanes at the 133 mile marker.
Friday morning, a fatal crash on eastbound I-74 in Decatur County.
Craig was declared dead at the scene.
The coroner provided a last known address of Indianapolis. Craig is the daughter of and survived by Jeffrey and Elizabeth A. (Hastey) Smith, of Manilla. She's also survived by daughters, Shelby Hudson and Sara Augustine, both of Shelbyville; brother, Jeffrey Smith Jr., of Manilla; and nephew, Liam Smith of Manilla.
Craig was a 1997 graduate of Morristown High School.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory in Shelbyville.
