The southwestern Indiana man who shot three people to death and wounded a fourth in Gibson County last week made his initial court appearance Monday.
77-year-old Patrick Waite of Haubstadt was formally charged with three counts of Murder and one count of Attempted Murder in connection with the shootings last Thursday in Haubstadt.
The victims have now been identified as Waite's wife, 61-year-old Alma Waite, 81-year-old Gloria Garcia and 39-year-old Fernando Ramirez, Sr. all of Haubstadt. The fourth unnamed victim remains hospitalized after being shot.
A not guilty plea was entered on Waites behalf during the proceeding in Gibson Superior Court and his next court date was set for Monday, July 21st. He remains incarcerated without bond in the Gibson County Jail.
