Members of the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals considered the request of Monteith’s Best One at 2150 North Oak Drive for a variance of development standard Tuesday night.
Todd Lehman from Signtech of Goshen appeared for the applicant and asked to added a sign over the oil change bay on the new shop area. The Valvoline sign measured 2 feet high and 6 feet wide.
The city standard limits the number of signs to a maximum of four signs. During the presentation by Ralph Booker, the city’s Plan Director, he noted approximately 10 signs on the property and commented that he believes they have received a couple of variances over the years for the additional signs.
There were no comments during the public hearing and the city BZA approved the request.
