A missing area woman has been found safe and sound.
The Edwards County Sheriff's Department reports that they and the Illinois State Police (ISP) began a search late Friday night for 65-year-old Karen Sager of West Salem, Ill. She was last seen at her rural residence Friday and reported as missing.
A subsequent search of the home discovered that Sager had left without her keys, cellphone and purse.
The search covered the area around the residence south of West Salem using both manpower and aerial drones.
The woman was finally located. No details regarding her discovery were included in the report.
