The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department has announced the final days to use the Meridian Park Family Aquatic Center for the 2024 season.
The aquatic center will remain open daily through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. It will be open Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The parks department will keep the facility closed Monday and have night hours of operation (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) on Aug. 6, Aug. 7 and Aug. 8.
The aquatic center will be closed Aug. 9 and then open Aug. 10 from noon to 6 p.m.
The final day to use the aquatic center will be Aug. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. That will be the annual “Doggie Day” at the pool with all proceeds from the event going to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter.
