When Summer and Jason Zeider first bought the Rochester building at 712 Main Street they didn't realize how big their doors would truly open as small business owners.
The couple made huge lifestyle changes in 2020.
Jumping out of her career in the medical field as an x-ray tech, and her husband leaving his factory job as a CNC machine operator, the Zeider's stepped into life as business owners for their homegrown hemp and CBD business, Edith Rose Company.

Having previously rented a shop across the street for Edith Rose, when deciding to make their purchase, the Zeider's saw potential in the three-story, historic building
Born and raised in Fulton County, Zeider said the building also brought her on a walk down memory lane.

Edith Rose Company opened its doors at the new location in September 2023. The new space felt like freedom to the Zeiders.
As their vision expanded, so did their ideas about starting a coffee shop.
Mellow Mug Cafe made its official opening at end of April. The Zeider's have quickly discovered the business has been an even bigger success than initially expected.
Mellow Mug Cafe has already been the host to multiple events, including a wedding. Zeider said their event schedule for the future has also booked out all the way to September.
Hours for the coffee shop are Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Helping his parents, Jaden Zeider manages the Mellow Mug Cafe.

Coffee isn't all they sell. Tying in with the vibes of their coffee shops decor, half of Mellow Mug is also being rented for antique sales.
Although Mellow Mug and their CBD business don't mingle together in drinks, you can also still buy Edith Rose Company products at their store.
The Zeider's already have creative plans up their sleeve for what's to come in the future.
With two stories above Mellow Mug Cafe's head, for the Zeider's, the sky is the limit.
