Mayor Listenberger is inviting the community to gather for a morning of fellowship, reflection, and giving back at the Mayor’s Annual Prayer Breakfast. The event, held in observance of the National Day of Prayer, is scheduled for Thursday, May 7th.
This year's breakfast will take place at the Plymouth Community Church-Stockman Youth Center, located at 11802 Lincoln Hwy in Plymouth. Doors will open at 6:00 a.m., with the official program beginning promptly at 6:30 a.m.
The theme for this year's National Day of Prayer gathering is "Glorify God Among the Nations - Seeking Him in All Generations," drawing inspiration from the biblical verse 1 Chronicles 16:24: "Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples."
Pastor Brian Hasse will serve as the event's featured speaker, delivering the morning's message to attendees. Guests will also be treated to a delicious breakfast buffet provided by local favorite Christos Family Dining.
Beyond bringing the community together for prayer, the annual breakfast serves a vital charitable purpose. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit two local organizations: the Marshall County Neighborhood Center and Link to Hope, both of which provide essential services to area residents.
Tickets for the Mayor's Annual Prayer Breakfast are $20 each. Community members interested in attending are encouraged to secure their seats in advance. To purchase tickets, please call Laura at 574-936-6717 or send an email to mayorsec@plymouthin.com.
