The Marshall County Sheriff's Department recognized several employees for lifesaving actions and years of dedicated service at its annual Christmas and Awards Luncheon on December 19th.
Four department employees received the Life Saving Award for their actions in a critical incident. Those honored were: Ryan Schori, Turnkey Records; William Schaetzle, Turnkey Dispatcher; Shalea Harvey, Turnkey Dispatcher; and Seth Crawford, Chief Jail Officer
Several employees were also recognized for their long-term dedication to the department: Detective Lieutenant Les McFarland: 30 years of service, Detective Sergeant Jonathan Bryant: 20 years of service, and Fred Berkeypile: 10 years of service.
The annual luncheon provides an opportunity for Sheriff Matt Hassel and department leadership to recognize outstanding performance and dedication among Marshall County Sheriff's Department personnel.
