The Marshall County Park Board will hold its monthly meeting this Wednesday, June 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the cabin at Memorial Forest, located at the corner of State Road 17 and 14th Road. The meeting is open to the public.
The agenda includes several updates on park improvement projects across the county. The board will receive updates on the addition of a fishing pier at the Mill Pond Multi-Use Trail, the installation of a swing set and mulch at Memorial Forest, and the creation of an additional canoe and kayak launch at a county location.
Board members will also discuss updating the county's 5-year Comprehensive Plan for parks and recreation.
Marshall County Park Board members include Adam Thada, Dick Markley, Deb VanDeMark, Heath Thornton, and Greg Hildebrand.
