The Marshall County Historical Society is pleased to announce the third installment of its popular "America’s 250" Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture series. The upcoming presentation, which highlights the Revolutionary War era, will take place on Friday, May 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum.
This month’s lecture will focus on the extraordinary life of Benjamin Franklin—a printer, writer, publisher, scientist, inventor, philosopher, public servant, diplomat, and a key Founding Father of our Nation. Guest speaker Monty Peden will lead the presentation, sharing insights into this true Renaissance man, along with some little-known facts and surprises along the way.
The Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture series is a community-focused educational program held on the second Friday of every month.
Attendees are encouraged to pack a lunch and enjoy an engaging hour of history and learning alongside friends and neighbors.
The event will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum, located at 123 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.
