The Marshall County Historical Society and Museum is gearing up for its annual Autumn Sidewalk Sales event, set to take place from September 10th through the 26th at the museum. The sale will be open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

With the event just a few weeks away, the museum is calling on the community to help make it a success. Donations are always welcome during open hours, and all proceeds from the sale support the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum.

Instead of struggling to put together a garage sale of your own, the museum invites residents to donate their items. If your kids don't want your keepsakes and special items, the museum offers a meaningful way to give them a second life.

The museum accepts a wide variety of donations, including small furniture items such as side tables and end tables, lamps, bookcases, and shoe racks. They also welcome small kitchen appliances, knick-knacks, toys, books, puzzles, holiday decorations, glassware, collectables, musical instruments, artwork, and more.

The museum does not accept clothing.

For more information or to donate, visit the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum during open hours.
