Marshall County Auditor Angie Birchmeier announced that the Indiana Auditor’s Association has chosen her to be a member of the Legislative Committee.
Birchmeier also served as Marshall County Treasurer during her tenure.
Birchmeier will attend the 2025 AIC (Association of Indiana Counties) Legislative Conference, which will be held in Indianapolis on February 4 - 5. During this conference, there will be opportunities to meet with various legislators and discuss issues pertaining to auditors. Birchmeier will continue to build relationships with state representatives and senators through her tenure as both Treasurer and Auditor.
As a reminder, the auditor’s office is responsible for the county's financial records. Within the first three months of each year, the auditor’s office must complete and submit the Annual Financial Report to the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
Once the Annual Financial Report is completed, it is available for viewing on Indiana’s transparency website Gateway. If you have any questions, you can stop by the auditor’s office located in the Marshall County Building, 112 W. Jefferson Street, Room 205, Plymouth. The hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
