Marshall County Auditor Angie Birchmeier is letting the citizens of Marshall County know that the 2025 Budget is now available for viewing online at www.budgetnotices.in.gov or by calling the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance at 888-739-9826. Anyone interested may subscribe to receive selected local government budget notices via email at www.budgetnotices.in.gov.
The County Council is Marshall County's fiscal body and is responsible for approving the Marshall County 2025 Budget. The department's submitted budgets were accepted at the August 8th County Council meeting. The public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 12, at 9:00 a.m., and the final adoption is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, at 9:30 a.m. Both meetings will be held in the Commissioners Room of the County Building at 112 West Jefferson Street, Room 203 in Plymouth.
