The KHS Marching Wildkats went into the contest as two-time defending champions.
Kokomo High School's Marching Wildkats brought home the Bronze medal from the Indiana State Fair Band Day.
The Marching Wildkats have finished in the top 16 a total of 13 times, 12 times in the top ten and eight times in the top five. Runner-up finishes were recorded in 2016 and 2019.
