A young Plymouth man was arrested after Plymouth Police Chief John Weir and Officer Thornton saw a man driving southbound on Michigan Street in the northbound lane.
At about 10:45 Thursday morning the two officers were stopped at the intersection of Washington and Michigan Streets, the officers were westbound and observed a silver Chevy Cruse driving south in the northbound lane of Michigan Street.
The vehicle turned eastbound onto Washington Street and Chief Weir attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the car continued southbound onto Water Street. The vehicle finally stopped at Garro and Water Streets and Chief Weir asked the driver for their license, registration, and insurance. He advised he didn’t have any of it.
24-year-old Jean Kenson Noual, identified by a passport, was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall Co. Jail by Sgt. West. He was booked in for operator never licensed.
