A domestic dispute turned into a police chase yesterday afternoon as Vigo County sheriff's deputies were alerted to a male suspect who was following a woman in his vehicle
The woman was not identified, but she was in contact with deputies until a traffic stop was eventually initiated in the Menards parking lot on US 41. At that time, the suspect fled from the scene. During the chase, the suspect attempted a U-turn and crashed their vehicle into a ditch. The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Mason Bobbit. He now faces a felony charge for resisting law enforcement.
