TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) - A Terre Haute man was arrested yesterday morning after police responded to a domestic dispute. The incident happened on the 1200 block of North 6th Street. Police initially determined that the male had confined his wife inside the home and that he was armed with a knife_x000D_ _x000D_ The man, identified as 46-year-old Dale Evans, aggressively requested that police shoot him. This triggered the police to request a response team and negotiators. After hours of negotiation, Evans peacefully gave himself up. Evans was charged with criminal confinement and resisting law enforcement.
