Major Health Partners (MHP) has been named one of the “100 Great Community Hospitals in the United States for 2025 by Becker’s Hospital.
MHP is one of just three hospitals in Indiana to earn this national honor.
This annual list recognizes hospitals that deliver outstanding care, put patients first, and make a strong impact in their communities.
Facilities are selected based on national awards and rankings from trusted organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CMS star ratings, and The Leapfrog Group.
“Being named one of the 100 Great Community Hospitals in the U.S. is a substantial honor,” said Ryan Claxton, President and CEO of MHP. “It shows how hard our team works every day to provide safe, high-quality care. We’re proud to serve our community with excellence.”
MHP is a 46-bed rural hospital known for offering advanced care not often available in smaller communities. Services include cancer care, heart care, orthopedics, plastic surgery, and more — helping patients access expert treatment close to home.
The hospital continues to lead in innovation, using advanced tools like robot-assisted surgery and the Meditech Expanse electronic health record system to improve care and communication.
MHP’s imaging department ranks in the top 7% nationally for patient satisfaction, and its hypertension management registry is helping improve outcomes in blood pressure control.
“We’re incredibly proud of the care we provide and deeply thankful to our dedicated staff,” added Claxton. “This award belongs to every team member who helps make MHP a great place for our patients and families.”
