Mainstreet Shelbyville Inc. has announced there will not be a Wine Walk/Sip on the Square event in 2026.
Citing declining ticket sales in recent years, the board of directors and staff decided to retire the event.
In a Facebook post: “We thank you all for the many years of sipping, shopping, and strolling through downtown Shelbyville alongside friends, family and neighbors. We are grateful for the partnership among downtown businesses, our sponsors, attendees, musicians and Wine Down concert partners, and toast you all for your support!”
Mainstreet Shelbyville will host Dinner Under the Stars: An Evening with Mainstreet Shelbyville which will serve as a fundraising event for the non-profit organizations.
