Emergency responders from Plymouth were dispatched to 2307 PIDCO Drive, Hoosier Tire and Rubber, at 12:26 a.m. Friday for an industrial accident.
When Plymouth Fire and EMS arrived on the scene, they found an unresponsive male trapped in a press used to make racing tires.
The victim was identified as Marshall Hunt, 30, of Plymouth. The coroner's report said he sustained injuries that were not compatible with life. The coroner’s staff pronounced Hunt deceased at the scene.
Local officials and OSHA are continuing to investigate this industrial accident. An autopsy will be performed on Saturday.
Assisting the Marshall County Coroner’s Office was the Plymouth Fire Department and Plymouth Police Department.
