Rochester Community High School has announced that, pending board approval, Luke Smith will be the new Varsity Boys Basketball Coach.
Smith is a 2006 graduate of Rochester, and is one of the most decorated players in school history. He continued his athletic career at Huntington University where he scored over 1,000 career points.
Smith has been on the varsity boys basketball staff for over eight years, and has played a large role in offseason workouts and offensive game planning.
Smith and his wife, Cassie, live on their family farm with their three children.
Again, Coach Smith's hiring is pending approval at our next school board meeting.
