A Cass County teen was arrested after fleeing Parke County law enforcement Monday night.
Just before 10 p.m., Parke County deputies responded to a residence in Marshall for an unwanted guest. The suspect, Nathaniel Ervin, 19, of Logansport, left the residence just prior to deputies' arrival, but deputies observed Ervin driving back by the property.
They attempted to perform a traffic stop, but Ervin fled eastbound on 236 at a high rate of speed.
Ervin's vehicle ran off the road and rolled several times, before coming to a rest in Guion. Ervin was uninjured in the crash and was taken into custody.
Ervin was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-Endangering a Person, Resisting Law Enforcement and Minor Consumption of Alcohol.
