Oakhaven Community received funding to install a salon to provide low-income residents access to salon services to enhance their physical and mental well-being. Oakhaven community offers affordable housing options for low-income elderly adults.
The Operation Round Up program allows Marshall County REMC members to reach out to worthy causes in the community and work together to help others. Thank you to those members who round up their electric bill to the next highest dollar each month and to the Marshall County Community Foundation for making these donations possible.
The next round of grants will be awarded in July. Charitable organizations within the Marshall County REMC service territory are eligible to apply. The organization does not have to be a member of Marshall County REMC. Applications are available at www.marshallremc.com.
