A new month, another First Friday celebration is on tap in downtown Greencastle.
On Friday, August 7, residents and visitors are invited to downtown Greencastle for an evening full of live music, shopping, food, family activities and more. The festivities will run from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., with live music starting at 7 p.m.
This Friday features Lemon Bros. on the Almost Home/Courthouse Stage, Hometown Haven on the Moore's Stage and The Kinsmen on the Lost Hollow Stage. In addition to the music, the Putnam County Gaming Initiative and friends will host a Family Fun Zone, offering children's activities throughout the night.
"First Friday is more than just an event -- it is an opportunity to celebrate everything that makes our community special. Each month, neighbors gather downtown to support local businesses, enjoy live entertainment and connect with one another. We're grateful to everyone who helps make these evenings possible and invite the entire community to join us on Aug. 7," said Kate Knaul, Executive Director of Main Street Greencastle.
