A lengthy investigation initiated by the Bremen Police Department came to a conclusion today, April 23, with the arrest of a Bremen woman.
The Bremen Police Department began an investigation into alleged practicing medicine without a license several months ago and asked for the assistance of the Indiana State Police. This investigation progressed and ultimately led to search warrants being executed at a residence located in the 800 block of State Road 331 in Bremen, the Aurelina Spa located at 822 West Plymouth Street in Bremen, and an additional business located at 214 South Indiana Avenue in Goshen.
As a result of the evidence gathered, Aurelina Kiefer, 38, of Bremen, was arrested for Unlawful Practice, Level 5 Felony, Corrupt Business Influence, Level 5 Felony, and Massage Therapy Licensure, C-Misdemeanor. Kiefer was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
The Bremen Police Department and Indiana State Police were assisted by the Goshen Police Department, Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
