Residents of Lawrenceville will soon have an option for residential property cleanup.
The city council, meeting Thursday night, voted to implement a large dumpster rental option from Republic Services.
The dumpster would be located in the work area near the sewer plant on the east side of the city.
No dates have been set yet and the duration for the cleanup has not been determined.
Work continues in committee regarding a plan to be submitted to the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) regarding the use of golf carts and ATVs inside the city limits.
Council members were briefed on the upcoming 16th Street lead service line project to begin in June.
They did enter into a 35 minute executive session dealing with personnel, but emerged to take no action.
